Vitls develops innovative wearables to help care providers continuously monitor their patients. 75% of all adverse events and preventable deaths in hospitals occur outside the ICU in intermittently-monitored beds. Vitls has developed the first and only continuous and remote vital signs monitoring platform, able to monitor patients of all ages. Their first product monitors body temperature, heart rate, pulse ox (SpO2), respiration rate, RR-interval, sleep and movement (incl. fall detection). Think of it as an incredibly clever band aid that is thin, flexible, unobtrusive, waterproof, has a 6-day battery life and is disposable. Real-time monitoring leads to early detection of patient deterioration which in turn reduces length of stay, treatment costs and re-admissions. It also improves patient outcomes and patient satisfaction scores.
