Hugo Mercier is the CEO and co-founder of Dreem, a leading digital therapeutic for sleep disorders. Hugo has led his business through the development of the company’s solution – Dreem 2 – a brand new product category that combines sleep and behavioral science with neurotechnology to advance the understanding and resolution of sleep disorders. Dreem 2 is a sleep solution that helps people to fall asleep, wake up less during the night and improve overall sleep quality thanks to a unique combination of lab-level sleep monitoring, biofeedback and coaching based on cognitive behavioral therapy. Hugo is a graduate of The University of California, Berkley and Ecole Polytechnique in Paris where he studied engineering and entrepreneurship. Before beginning Dreem, Hugo supported and co-founded other start-up organizations within the technology and artificial intelligence industries. Hugo has been honored with several awards including the Concours Mondial d’Innovation 2030 Phase III and “Innovators Under 35 Europe” by MIT Technology Review. Hugo was also named one of the “30 Most Influential French Persons Under 30” by Vanity Fair and has spoken at several leading events including TedxParis, Slush, Web Summit and Hello Tomorrow.
