John Bass

John Bass is the Founder & CEO of Hashed Health, the leading platform for blockchain innovation in healthcare whose product portfolio includes ProCredEx, Signal Stream, and Bramble. Since 2015 John has been the leading voice in the development of the global healthcare blockchain market. John is an internationally recognized speaker on value-based care, blockchain and decentralized healthcare technology. He is the co-author of the HIMSS-published book “Blockchain in Healthcare: Innovations that Empower Patients, Connect Professionals and Improve Care.” John and Hashed Health have received numerous awards for their work in the blockchain / DLT space, including NTC’s Innovator of the Year and Top Blockchain Developer in an unbiased survey by Black Book.

John’s work at Hashed Health and his passion for blockchain is informed by his history of bringing together disparate parties in healthcare to solve problems using shared value principles and shared operating systems. Prior to Hashed Health, John was CEO at InVivoLink, a care management start-up which sold to HCA in 2015. John’s experience also includes healthcare B2B startup empactHealth.com which was acquired by Medibuy / Global Healthcare Exchange. John is a native of Nashville and has a Chemistry degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
