Stacey Magness is the Director of Global Benefits and HR Operations at Ellucian, which provides technology solutions focused on the success of higher education institutions around the world. Responsible for designing and delivering benefits to over 3,000 employees across 12 countries, Stacey considers herself a “benefits nerd” and loves the challenge of providing valuable, compelling benefits packages to employees and their families.

Over the last few years, Stacey has led Ellucian’s involvement in the Health Transformation Collaborative. The HTC began as a group of benefits leaders from companies owned by the private equity group Leonard Green & Partners. With Mercer as our consultant, HTC members combined resources, knowledge, and a desire to transform how healthcare was delivered to our employees. The HTC has succeeded in launching innovative, high-quality benefits that have reduced costs, improved health outcomes, and enhanced the member experience with the ever-complex healthcare industry.

Stacey has a B.S. in biology from Lebanon Valley College became a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist in 2017. Keeping up with her 11-year old’s activities and chasing her 1-year old occupy most of her spare time, but you’ll also see her cheering on the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens during baseball and football seasons.
