Dr. Henry Wei
Dr. Wei is a medical director for Google Health, working on product strategy & research to enable better consumer and patient-facing care. Henry is also a faculty member in the departments of Medicine and Health Policy & Research at Cornell (Weill-Cornell Medicine). He was previously Google’s medical director for Benefits, leading the genesis of a direct employer ACO plan, health data analytics team, and mental health strategy. Prior to Google, Henry served with the White House as a Presidential Innovation Fellow, and was Sr. Medical Director at Aetna in the Innovation Labs. In the past he also worked at Aetna/ActiveHealth in Clinical Research & Development, and at McKinsey in the North American healthcare practices on pharma, med device, and payor-provider strategy. Dr. Wei earned his M.D. and completed his internal medicine residency at Weill-Cornell, and has also completed additional medical informatics training at Stanford University at Harvard Medical School. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biology, with his published thesis research on human circadian biology, from Harvard University.
